Is Signa self-custodial?

Signa is designed around a self-custodial account model. Users interact through a dedicated smart wallet, and settlement occurs on-chain.

• Funds are associated with your Signa smart wallet
• Trading and settlement are recorded on-chain
• Deposits are made directly on BSC using supported assets
• The onboarding flow is designed to reduce operational complexity for users

Does wallet login give the platform control over my external wallet?

No. Wallet login is used for authentication and signing. It does not give Signa control over assets held in your external wallet.

At a high level, the flow looks like this:

Email / FoxChat / MetaMask → Sign message (no Gas) → Create independent smart wallet

Your external wallet remains separate from the Signa smart wallet used for platform activity.
